Happy Birthday, Caitlin!!!!!!!

I read some books for you. And made a website that belongs in 2004.

You already knew I read this!

But it's going on here again anyway! I had a great time! I'm glad Bunny's dead! A real piece of shit!

Don't Hate Me!!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. There were many parts of this I loved but was frustrated with a lot of it too. Mostly, I wanted more from Sadie’s character!! I feel like she was too many female character cliches. I know the point of Dov is that he SUCKS ASS but it was so unpleasant reading anything about him.

I think Marx was overall the most interesting character to me? He just wants to take care of the people he loves.

The biggest issue here is really that I love Halt and Catch Fire which is a lot of the same vibes and emotionally destroyed me, so hard for anything to stack up against it.

I did however love a lot about Sadie and Max's friendship and how they were often bad at being friends. And reallyyyy appreciate that they never got together. And then all the game creation stuff was a good time and I want to play the games.

Loved?!

Turns out this ranks above Daisy Jones for me! I just really love Carrie and how she's ruthlesssss. The structure of the book actually really works when I wasn't sure it would! Love to have this overview of the before and then getting into the present. The articles and transcripts scattered throughout, chef's kiss.

Then there's the romance! Not the focus of the book which I love. Just very sweet and makes me so happy for Carrie.

And then OF COURSE the dad shit was a rollercoaster but I loved their relationship and how he admits where he fucked up. And then I was naturally destroyed emotionally in the end.

I was a little nervous about how she was going to end things with the US Open and Carrie's record but it ended up being perfect. LOVE that she became a coach. Let go a little bit but not entirely.

Anyway this will be reread for sure.

I don't know how to rate these books!

Do I love these books? Do I hate them? I must know what happens even though half of it doesn't actually make any sense!!!! I immediately forget what happens in every book almost immediately after reading it.

But this time, for  you, I took notes so you have a refresher before this latest book.

It's long sooooo

I mostly thought it would be funny to read this.

I half read it and half listened to an audiobook AND I had a good time despite not being 16! "Clueless Crew" is so funny.

Love a girl who finds her voice and stops being friends with annoying people 💜 Her original Italian crush turning out to be gay? Iconique

It's time! Well, almost...

THE END!!!

And now you get a real gift which is a gift card to get a new book. Maybe something else I'll take a decade to read!
